Subdivision Process

Subdivision is the process of dividing a parcel of land into two or more parcels.

To subdivide land, you must make application to the Planning Department.

Environmental Public Health Permissions

Some developments may require approvals from Environmental Public Health. If you are proposing a subdivision to accommodate the development of a food facility, personal service, day care, supportive living facility, or other sensitive use the following links may be useful.

Please note that the City of Red Deer does not issue Environmental Public Health approvals.
