NASARIMBA - a fictional word meaning “playful mischief” - is the name of Mikhail Miller and Rachel Ziriada’s collaborative project based in Mohkinstsis, Treaty 7 Territory in Calgary. Their multidisciplinary practice involves painting, printmaking, sculpture, installation, and mural painting. Their work is graphic and colourful, and includes references to architecture, nature, and the art-making process. They have produced numerous large-scale outdoor murals in communities across western Canada and Mexico.
