Neighbourhood Schedule

All residential and commercial customers will be receiving new AMI Meters, and installation will be rolled out neighbourhood-by-neighbourhood, starting in north Red Deer and working our way south. Watch for AMI signage in your area and check the schedule below.

Please note: The neighbourhood schedule applies primarily to single-family homes and smaller properties. Larger multi-dwelling properties, such as apartment and condominium buildings with multiple meters, are being scheduled separately and will be completed during the later stages of the AMI rollout.

Residents of multi-dwelling properties will receive notice on the main entry doors of their building the day prior to the meter exchanges are scheduled to take place. A brief interruption to electricity service will occur during the exchange.

Please also note: Annual meter exchanges for mandatory Measurement Canada compliance testing are currently underway. As a result, some homes may receive a meter exchange outside of the neighbourhood schedule below.
