The Excavations in Public Right of Way policy:

• Outlines the responsibility of each party involved when excavations are carried out in public right of ways
• Defines regulations related to the work being done
• Specifies that the work will conform to City standards and safety requirements
• Ensures that we are provided with the proper information and scheduling to allow us to issue you an excavation permit
• Establishes the rates approved by the City Manager
