Secure your load
Do your part to help keep Red Deer safe and clean. Waste falling or blowing out of a vehicle is a safety hazard, creates unsightly litter and is an environmental concern.
When hauling waste to the Waste Management Facility the load must be adequately covered or secured to contain the waste and prevent it from falling or blowing out of your vehicle or trailer. Secure waste with a tarp, cargo net, bungee cords or tie downs. A surcharge will be applied to loads that are not adequately covered or secured.
Securing loads is required under City of Red Deer bylaws and Provincial regulations.
