Gardeners who participated in the 2025 gardening season will have an opportunity to re-register the same plot that they held for the 2026 gardening season before the public registration day. The following steps must be completed to successfully obtain your plot. Please note, it is the responsibility of the applicant to thoroughly review the Application Agreement Terms and Expectations before applying for this program.

Renewing Same Garden Plot Held in 2025 for the 2026 Season

• Step 1: Update Look n' Book account information, ensuring your preferred e-mail address is correct. This will be the way we communicate with you throughout the season. In addition, please confirm that your phone number is correct.
  
  
• Step 2: Fill out a 2026 Gardener Application Form (pdf). between the dates of March 2-20, 2026. You can complete this form electronically or print out and fill by hand. Send the completed form to gardenprogram@reddeer.ca. If filled by hand, either scan the form and send it via email, or bring the form to one of our in-person registration dates listed below. Please note that incomplete applications will not be accepted.
  
  
• Step 3: Pay for your plot by March 20, 2026. The easiest way to do so is by calling our Garden Plot Program customer service team at 587-273-5551, once you've submitted your completed application. Failure to pay for the garden plot by this date will result in forfeiture of the plot. Please note that payment over the phone can only be done via credit card. If you are not able to pay via credit card, you must visit the Don Moore Recreation Centre to process your payment after you have sent in your application via e-mail and received confirmation that your application has been received. Applications cannot be filled out at the Don Moore Recreation Centre, except for on the 3 in person registration days listed in the table below.
  
  
• Step 4: Check your email for confirmation of payment. Once you receive confirmation, you are fully registered for the season. 

Switching 2025 Garden Plot for the 2026 Season (Location or Size):

Gardeners who chose to re-register for the same plot that they held in the 2025 season for the 2026 season have the opportunity to switch to a different plot or garden (based on availabilty) once the re-registration period closes. You may want a smaller or larger plot than the plot you re-registered for from the previous season, or you may want to switch to a completely different garden.

• Step 1: Method to switch:
  
  • Choose a new plot by viewing Garden Location. Please have multiple choices in mind, as availability will vary.
  • Phone: 587-273-5551 throughout the registration period listed above to select a new plot with a garden program representative. 
    
    
• Step 2: If the plot you are switching to is the same size as the one you had the previous year, you do not need to do anything further. You will receive an e-mail confirmation once your new chosen plot has been booked. If the plot you have chosen is larger in size than the plot you had the previous year, you are responsible to pay the difference via credit card over the phone, or by visiting the Don Moore Recreation Centre for other methods of payment. Failure to pay for your larger plot by the deadline will result in forfeiture of the plot. 
  
  
• Step 3: Check your email for confirmation of registration and payment.
