If you need an ambulance in Red Deer, Emergency Services is the department that will help you. Paramedics are trained in Advanced Life Support for Emergency Medical Services (EMS).
Ambulance Services
Red Deer Emergency Services ambulance service is contracted by Alberta Health Services.
Five Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances are staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week for the citizens of Red Deer and surrounding area.
All our highly trained members are either Paramedics or Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs).
User fees for ambulance service, whether it includes transport to the hospital or immediate assessment and treatment from an EMS crew member on site, are in effect.
