About Me
Cindy Jefferies has been a dedicated public servant and community leader in Red Deer for more than two decades. In 2013, she first ran for the office of Mayor, and although not elected at that time, her commitment to the community remained steadfast. In 2025, inspired once again by her passion for public service, Cindy ran for Mayor and was successfully elected.
Cindy believes that good local government is the foundation of great communities and is dedicated to fostering collaboration, transparency and a strong sense of belonging in Red Deer.
A proud mom of three grown sons and a grandmother of one, Cindy enjoys spending time outdoors with her black lab, Kaslo. She loves to ski, hike, camp and kayak – embracing the active Red Deer lifestyle she champions.
