Red Deer, Alta. – This afternoon, the Red Deer RCMP Crime Reduction Team was conducting routine patrols in the area of Gaetz Avenue when they conducted a traffic stop, leading the arrest of an individual.
During the traffic stop, officers determined that an individual had outstanding warrants issued by Drumheller RCMP and the Parole Board of Canada. With the assistance of Alberta Sheriffs Safer Communities and Neighbourhoods, officers arrested Jacob Conrad Courtemanche, a 27-year-old resident of Red Deer.
Due to the circumstances, there was an increased police presence in the area as officers carried out their duties.
