Red Deer, Alta. – The 38-year-old male driver of the motorcycle has succumbed to his injuries. The police investigation is ongoing. Red Deer RCMP extend their sincerest condolences to all affected by this incident.

BACKGROUND:
Red Deer, Alta. – On July 20, 2022 at approximately 9:00 a.m., Red Deer RCMP along with Red Deer Emergency Services responded to a collision between a motorcycle and pick-up truck with an attached trailer unit on 55 Ave in West Park.
The 38-year-old male driver of the motorcycle sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to Red Deer hospital, and later air lifted to a Calgary hospital in critical condition. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.
The name of the individuals involved will not be released.
