Red Deer, Alta. – Red Deer RCMP are currently investigating an early morning robbery, and aggravated assault which is believed to have occurred in the early morning hours of Sept. 24, 2021.
Red Deer RCMP were called to the front steps of the Red Deer City Hall Building at approximately 6:05 a.m., after a 32-year-old Red Deer man was discovered injured and in need of medical assistance. EMS were on scene, and the male was transported to the hospital with a serious injury.
Prior to the robbery, the victim was believed to have been in possession of a tan and camouflaged colour BMX bike (with no brakes), and a camouflage backpack.
