(Red Deer, Alberta)Red Deer drivers are advised of a traffic disruption at the intersection of 77 Street and 50 (Gaetz) Ave on Tuesday, October 26 as crews work on traffic signal infrastructure.
Starting at 9:00 a.m. the lights will be flashing red on north bound, south bound, and east bound lanes and stop signs will be in place for the west bound lanes. Drivers are to treat the intersection as a four-way stop for the duration of the work. Traffic signals are expected to be fully operational by 1:00 p.m.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and obey all signs. This work is weather dependent and schedules may be subject to change.
