Monday through Saturday evening fixed-route service is returning to Red Deer Transit on Monday, December 6, 2021. Sunday and holiday service hours will not change at this time.
“We have been monitoring demand for transit service throughout the pandemic,” said Trever Sparrow, Transit Superintendent. “We are confident that these evening hours will better meet transit service demand for our evening commuters.”
Starting Monday, December 6, the last departure from Sorenson Station will be 10:45 p.m. and all other routes/frequencies will follow their departure schedules from either Bower or Kingston hubs. Route 12/Gasoline Alley will remain on the current schedule. Sunday and holiday hours are also not changing.
Transit riders can refer to the City’s website at www.reddeer.ca/transit or the MyBus app for up-to-date schedules. As always, riders can contact the Transit Customer Service team at 403-342-8225 of firstname.lastname@example.org for help planning their routes.
