(Red Deer, Alberta)

Registration for The City of Red Deer recreation, arts and culture programming begins Tuesday, August 17 at 12:00 noon.

With provincial public health restrictions easing further, City recreation, arts and culture opportunities will return to normal this fall. With a full offering of aquatics, sport, family, fitness, visual arts and performing arts programming, there is something for everyone.

The paper version of the Activity Guide will not be produced this fall, in favor of the customizable online tool, My Activity Guide. My Activity Guide allows users to choose the categories, locations and age groups relevant to them, and only contains up-to-date program information.

Fall programs will be viewable on Look ‘n Book and My Activity Guide on Thursday, August 12 with registration beginning Tuesday, August 17 at 12:00 noon.

Registration will occur primarily online through Look ‘n Book. Due to a recent software upgrade, credits can now be used to register for programs online.

Customers should visit their Look’ n Book accounts prior to registration day to ensure access is up to date. For any questions regarding account access please contact Recreation at 403-309-8411.

“We are thrilled to once again offer the full spectrum of programming this fall,” says Barb McKee, Recreation Superintendent. She continues, “we can’t wait to help the community get back to regular recreation and culture pursuits in our facilities.”

The City of Red Deer continues with enhanced health and safety protocols to ensure the safety of staff, participants and families. Additional hand sanitizer stations remain on site, enhanced cleaning protocols are followed, and The City continues to ask guests to stay home if they are feeling unwell.

For a full list of available programs please create your own custom Activity Guide at www.reddeer.ca/MyActivityGuide or visit Look ‘n Book. Fall programs will be viewable on Thursday, August 12.
