(Red Deer, Alberta)Building permit values in Red Deer totalled $8.25 million in November 2025, a decrease from $23 million in November 2024. While monthly activity was slower, year-to-date permit values remain strong.
From January through November 2025, The City issued 1,009 building permits valued at $1.05 billion, compared to 1,102 permits worth $128.6 million during the same period in 2024.
Notable permits include:
- Building permit for construction of a two-storey addition including a warehouse and shop at 6739 67 Avenue, valued at $2.5 million
- Building permit for construction of outdoor compressor shack at 4847 19 Street, valued at $1.17 million
- Building permit for construction of new, single family detached dwelling with front attached garage, rear deck and basement development at 82 Turnbull Close, valued at $381,000
- Building permit for construction of new, single family detached dwelling with attached garage at 4 Sunnyside Crescent, valued at $279,000
