Collicutt Centre's 25 Years Community Celebration
For 25 years, the Collicutt Centre has been more than just a recreation facility, it has been a place where community comes together. Since opening in 2001, the Centre has welcomed generations of Red Deerians for fitness, wellness, recreation, connection and family time.
We have been proud to serve as a hub for community connection, staying true to the Collicutt Centre’s original moniker “Your Community Common.”
To recognize 25 years, please join us as we celebrate this milestone with a community-wide anniversary event on Saturday, June 13. Everyone is invited to enjoy free access to the Collicutt Centre from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., along with light refreshments and special moments of celebration throughout the day.
Whether you have visited the Collicutt Centre for years or are experiencing it for the first time, this event is an opportunity to celebrate the memories, friendships and connections that have made the facility such an important part of our community for the past 25 years. Come celebrate with us and help mark a legacy of recreation, wellness and togetherness in Red Deer.

When is the celebration?
Saturday, June 13 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Is there a cost to attend the event?
No. The City of Red Deer is celebrating with the community by offering free access to the Collicutt Centre from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. during the event. Facility access before 12 p.m. and after 5 p.m. will be at the rate of daily admission.
Who can attend the event?
Everyone is welcome. The celebration is open to all community members and visitors. As per facility guidelines, children under the age of 8 must be supervised by an adult or someone over the age of 16.
What will be happening at the event?
The celebration will include small moments of recognition throughout the day, light refreshments, and opportunities for the community to come together and enjoy the facility. The primary focus of the celebration is providing free access for the community to enjoy the Collicutt Centre and everything it offers.
What if I arrive early for the event?
Daily admission rates apply to any entry before 12 p.m.
Do I have to leave right at 5 p.m.?
Yes, drop-in areas will be cleared of guests that came for the event. Paid entry wristbands will be required after 5 p.m.
