Rotary Picnic Park has something for everyone, making it one of the most popular parks in Red Deer. Thanks to the park's many amenities, Rotary Picnic Park is the perfect place to have a picnic and spend the day outdoors.
Location
Rotary Picnic Park is located on the corner of 43 Street and 48 Avenue in Red Deer.
The Site
The Rotary Picnic Park includes:
- numerous picnic tables
- fire pits
- Piper "Mountain"
- access to Waskasoo trail system
- playground
- Washrooms are open daily from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., depending on staff availability.

Trail closure at Rotary Park
Trail users are advised of a trail closure affecting the trail that runs south of Rotary Park to the east of South Hill due to structural damage to the boardwalk that poses a risk to anyone walking, running or cycling on the structure.
Crews have installed barricades that will be in place until the boardwalk can be removed or replaced.
Trail users are reminded to obey all signage and not to enter the barricaded area.
