A Zoning Letter can tell you things about a property that may otherwise not be known, such as zoning and the permitted and discretionary uses of that zone.

A Real Property Report (RPR) is a document that shows your property lines and the location of any buildings and fences on your property.
A Letter of Compliance (Certificate of Compliance) is provided by The City of Red Deer when the location of the buildings shown on an RPR comply with the setback requirements of the Zoning Bylaw.
You may need an RPR if:
The property owner, a land surveyor, or agent of the property owner accompanied by a Letter of Authorization (pdf).
You can apply for RPR compliance by completing and submitting the Development Permit Application - RPR (pdf) application form, and its requirements, to Inspections and Licensing via:
