The preparation and approval of The City’s budget is one of the most important tasks for Administration and Council each year. The budget provides a foundation to meet the public service needs of our residents and to make decisions on municipal services and infrastructure.  

The budget involves planning of operations and activities in order to manage revenues and expenditures in a responsible manner. Aligned with The City’s Strategic Plan, the budget consists of operating and capital budgets.
