(Red Deer, Alberta)Motorists are advised of two upcoming traffic disruptions.
- Utility services will be working overnight from 8:30 p.m. on January 29 to 5 a.m. on January 30 along 50 Avenue from 46 Street to 42 Street. Three lanes of 50 Avenue (Gaetz Ave) will be closed in the southbound lane, reducing traffic to the western-most lane.
- EL&P will be working along 43 Street between 54 Avenue and 55 Avenue from January 29 until February 12. Daily lane closures & detours will be in place from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to allow for crews to safely replace electrical poles. Detours will be removed nightly to allow for regular traffic flow.
Motorists are advised to obey all signs, follow detour signage, and reminded to please slow down when approaching the area. Your patience and cooperation is greatly appreciated.
