As sweeping wraps up on arterial roadways, crews are moving on to downtown and residential streets the week of May 11.
Downtown will be swept Sunday evening, between 3 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Then crews will move on to daytime operations on May 12, sweeping residential roads between 7 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. Street sweeping works from the inside-out, starting with the smaller closes and cul-de-sacs (Grey Routes), then moving outward to the larger, busier roadways (Green Routes) in the neighbourhood.
As always, residents can assist with street sweeping by moving their vehicles off the road. Moving your vehicle helps us move more quickly and results in cleaner streets. If you see a No Parking sign on your street, please park your vehicle in an alternate location. Vehicles left on signed streets will be ticketed and towed.
Crews will start in the following zones/neighbourhoods:
- Zone E: Clearview Ridge, Clearview Meadows and Michener Hill
- Zone H: Grandview, Eastview, Mountview, Morrisroe
- Zone I: Sunnybrook, Anders, Aspen Ridge and Inglewood
