On April 11, 2026 at approximately 9:30 p.m., Red Deer Emergency Services was dispatched to a residential structure fire in the Timber Ridge neighbourhood.
Upon arrival of the first crew, the house was fully engulfed in flames, however, all residents of the house were safely outside and no injuries were reported. Crews worked quickly to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to neighbouring houses. In total, it took 40 minutes to get the initial fire under control.
Four engine crews, ladder crew, command and EMS were on scene, totaling 26 fire personnel.
RDES Fire Inspectors are investigating the cause, and more information will be shared once it is available. Due to the extensive damage, the residence is fenced off for public safety.
