Red Deer RCMP are investigating a series of arsons involving bus benches throughout the city and are seeking assistance from the public.
Police are requesting any dash camera footage from the following dates, times and locations that may show anything suspicious or relevant to the investigation.
- May 1, 2025 5:33 a.m., at 43 St. and 57 Ave.
- May 1, 2025 4:23 p.m., at 30 Ave. and 32 St.
- May 2, 2025 11:10 p.m., at 50 Ave and Bennett St.
- May 8, 2025 4:42 p.m., at Kerrywood Dr, in the area of Fairview school.
- May 10, 2025 9:45 p.m., at Kerrywood Dr. and 59 St.
- June 04, 2025 4:41 p.m., at Davison Dr. and Dawson St.
- June 09, 2025 9:12 a.m., at 22 St. and Inglewood Dr.
- July 05, 2025 9:12 p.m., at Avery St. and Addington Dr.
- July 07, 2025 3:31 p.m., at Inglewood Dr. and 22 St.
- July 08, 2025 4:01 p.m., at Barrett Dr. and Byer Cl.
