Extended construction hours on 19 Street Improvement Project

As part of The City of Red Deer’s 19 Street Improvement Project, concrete work is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, July 23. Current daytime temperatures are too high for concrete to properly cure, so to avoid concrete weakness, shrinkage and cracking, crews will begin work at 4:30 a.m. for approximately four weeks.

During this work, nearby residents may hear construction activities such as beeping noises as vehicles reverse on site.
