The City of Red Deer is recruiting board members for both the Red Deer Regional Airport Board and the Mayor’s Recognition Awards Committee.
One member is required to sit on the Airport Board that oversees the general management of the Red Deer Regional Airport Authority. This group meets on the third Thursday of every month for approximately two hours.
The Mayor’s Recognition Awards Committee is searching for five members who will meet two or three times in March and April to select individuals, groups or teams who have brought honour and recognition to Red Deer. These people should have a background in or knowledge of athletics, fine and performing arts and the volunteer community.
