Upcoming road closures for September

Motorists are advised of upcoming traffic disruptions around Red Deer in the coming weeks.

1. On 57 Street, between 58 Avenue and Kerrywood Drive, there will be a full street closure in place from September 4 through to September 13. This closure is for manhole installation and repair. Detour is in place on 55 and 60 Street.
2. Road closure at 11 Stanhope Avenue from September 3 until September 6 for water and sanitary work. Detour is in place on Stewart Street and Salisbury Avenue.
3. Road closure on 57 Street between Kerry Wood Drive and 58 Avenue from September 4 until September 13 for water and sanitary work. Detour in place on 55 Street and 60 Street.
4. Road closure at 51 Alford Avenue on September 3 for road work. Detour using 40 Avenue or Ayers Avenue.
5. Road closure at 20 Alford Avenue on September 4 for road work. Detour using 40 Avenue or Ayers Avenue.
6. On 52 Street, between 49 Avenue and 50 Avenue, the road will be closed from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. on September 4 for a crane lift. Detour is in place on 53 and 51 Street.

Drivers are reminded to slow down when approaching or driving in construction areas and obey all signs. Your patience and cooperation are greatly appreciated.
