(Red Deer, Alberta)The following items are on Red Deer City Council’s open meeting agenda on Tuesday, November 14, 2023.
Greater Downtown and Railyards Neighbourhood Development Strategies:
- City Council will consider a report about potential neighbourhood development strategies for the greater downtown and Railyards neighbourhoods to address concerns raised by residents, businesses and property owners.
Utilities Governance (Part I):
- City Council will consider resolutions regarding an updated Utility Governance Policy. These resolutions are an early step in an ongoing project to modernize The City’s approach to Utility Governance.
LUB Road Closure Hospital (Consent):
- City Council will consider first reading of a land use bylaw amendment to rezone an area south of the hospital from R2 to PS to accommodate a proposed ambulatory care facility.
Westerner Update: Relationship Agreement (Consent):
- City Council will receive an update about the relationship agreement between The City of Red Deer and Westerner Exhibition Association (WEA).
Code of Conduct Bylaw Amendment (Bylaw):
- City Council is being asked to consider adjusting the effective date of the bylaw to February 1, 2024.
