Are you a property owner, developer or business in the downtown? Applications are now open for another intake of the Economic Incentives program.
Property owners and developers can apply to two funding categories available to eligible property owners in the Greater Downtown Area:
- Residential and Mixed-Use Development Grant
- Façade and Storefront Improvement and CPTED Rebate
Applications will be accepted online from January 23 to March 1, 2023.
“We are pleased to offer another intake of the Leading Froward Economic Incentive grant and rebate program,” said Jason Taylor, Divisional Strategist, Development Services. “Through these incentives, we work with businesses and property owners to spur investment and development in the downtown, which we expect to have a catalyst effect in creating other economic spinoffs for the city as a whole.”
This intake will invest up to $280,000 of previously approved funds through the two funding categories being offered.
