(Red Deer, Alberta)Motorists are advised of intermittent road closures on 48 Avenue between 49 Street and 48 Street this week as concrete work is completed.
Between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Monday, August 14, Wednesday, August 16 and Friday, August 18, 48 Avenue will we closed to traffic between 49 Street and 48 Street. Traffic can use 47 Avenue and 49 Avenue to detour this closure.
Drivers are reminded to slow down when in construction areas and pedestrians are to cross only at designated crosswalks. This work is weather dependent, and schedules may be subject to change. For more information about road closures, visit www.reddeer.ca/roadclosures.
