Red Deer drivers are advised of upcoming road closures on 47 Avenue between 44 Street and 49 Street as crews work to replace manholes in preparation for crown paving at a later date.
Between 7 a.m. on Monday, October 3 and 6 p.m. on Friday, October 21, intermittent road closures will take place. There will also be lane closure at the intersection of 47Avenue and 49 Street.
Signs will be in place to notify motorists of all road closures. Drivers are reminded to slow down and obey all signs when driving in construction zones. Pedestrians are reminded to cross only at designated crosswalks.
