(Red Deer, Alberta)Red Deer drivers are advised of upcoming traffic disruptions this weekend as crews complete road paving in multiple streets in the city.
Intermittent lane closures and traffic delays will take place between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. in the following locations and days:
- 52 Avenue and 39 Street from 43 Street to 51 Avenue on Saturday, July 23
- Southbound 30 Avenue between Avery Street and 22 Street on Sunday, July 24
- Both directions on 22 Street from 30 Avenue to Lalor Drive on Sunday, July 24, may extend into Monday, July 25
Drivers are encouraged to take alternate routes where possible and reminded to slow down when driving in construction zones and obey all signs. Pedestrians are reminded to cross only at designated crosswalks.
