Delay in Kinsmen Community Arenas opening

The opening of the Kinsmen arenas has been delayed due to a pressure test issue with the new chiller. This test is an essential step to ensure the system is properly sealed, safeguarding public health and the environment. Unfortunately, with the pressure test not meeting expectations, there will be at least a two-week delay, pushing the earliest opening to late December.

The original opening date was December 16, which was later adjusted to December 18 to allow additional time for equipment commissioning. Our target date for opening is now December 27; we will be working with our user groups to revise permits and schedules.
