The City of Red Deer and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 254 reached a new collective agreement for approximately 50 City employees represented by the union.
The agreement spans a four-year term, effective January 1, 2026, through December 31, 2029.
The City thanks both bargaining teams for their collaborative and professional efforts throughout negotiations. This agreement reflects a shared commitment to stability, fairness, and continued service excellence for the community.
