- Municipal Naming Application
REPORTS:
Long Term Financial Roadmap
- Council received the Financial Roadmap Report on Monday; a long-term financial sustainability plan developed in partnership with KPMG. The report outlines key observations and recommendations to help modernize financial systems, strengthen financial leadership, and enhance data and reporting practices across the organization.
- The report also includes tools such as a 20-year budget scenario model to support future planning. Administration directed Council to move forward with the implementation of the Roadmap and to bring quarterly reports to the Audit Committee on the starring in Q1 of 2026.

HAF2 Engagement Update
- City Council has decided not to proceed with zoning bylaw changes that would allow “Four Units As-of-Right” (4UAOR) on all residential lots, following significant public input and careful consideration of community concerns.
BYLAWS:
Intermunicipal Subdivision Appeal Board Bylaw (Second and Third Reading):
- The City of Red Deer is updating its Intermunicipal Subdivision and Development Appeal Board (ISDAB) Bylaw to align with the new Intermunicipal Development Plan (IDP) jointly developed with Red Deer County. The updated Bylaw 3732/2025 replaces the 2008 version, modernizing processes to improve scheduling efficiency, increase board member availability, and introduce new provisions.
