Starting September 1, 2025, there will be an adjustment to fees for our Recreation facilities and cemetery services.
During 2024/2025 budget deliberations, City Council agreed that an increase to admission fees, facility rental rates and cemetery services was necessary to keep up with the rising costs of operations.
“Our ongoing priority is to ensure broad access to recreation opportunities, even as we address rising costs, staffing limitations, and increased maintenance demands,” says Bre Fitzpatrick, Acting Recreation Superintendent. “As part of that commitment, we continue to offer the Fee Assistance Program to support residents who need financial assistance in accessing City Arts and Recreation programs and services.”
As of September 1, the following services will experience rate changes:
- Daily admission at the Collicutt Centre, G.H. Dawe Community Centre, Recreation Centre, Michener Aquatic Centre, Servus Arena, Kinsmen Community Arenas and Setters Place at Great Chief Park
- Monthly Recreation Passes
- 10 punch passes at the above-mentioned facilities
- Group admission fees at the above-mentioned facilities
- Childminding fees at the Collicutt Centre and G.H. Dawe Community Centre
- Facility rental rates
- Cemetery Services
