Enjoy a variety of winter themed activities throughout the facility, including:
- Winter Waves Pool Party
- Arctic Gymnasium Games
- Glide & Chill Public Skating (1 - 2:30 p.m.)
- Little Snowflakes Craft Corner
- Free Hot Chocolate Bar
- Free Frosty Family Fair (Interactive family & youth services)
This special event celebrates community, connection, and inclusion while highlighting local programs and support services that make a difference for youth and families. While regular admission is required for most activities, the Free Frosty Family Fair invites everyone to explore booths from local charities and agencies supporting our community.
Come create lasting memories, connect with neighbours, and celebrate winter together!
G.H. Dawe Community Centre Drop-In Admission Fees:
- Child (3-12) $4.70
- Youth (13-17) $6.50
- Adult (18+) $9.30
- Senior (65+) $8.40
- Monthly Passes Accepted: Recreation All Access Pass & Recreation Plus Pass

Safety always comes first. During Surf n’ Turf, you’ll see lifeguards on deck, staff in every space, and a team focused on keeping things safe and fun from start to finish. Each event is carefully planned so participants can stay active, enjoy the experience, and feel supported throughout the night.
