Update your information before you look ‘n’ book

May 17, 2018 8:58 AM
(Red Deer, Alberta)

The City of Red Deer will be launching a new registration system this summer, meaning things will look and feel different when citizens’ sign up for a program or register for a class on Looknbook. This new system will make it easier for customers to search, get information and register for City of Red Deer recreation and culture programs and services.

In preparation for the new system, customers are being asked to make sure their account information is up to date including details such as email addresses and contact information. Cashiers and customer service staff at City recreation and culture facilities will ask customers to provide this information when they check in. Alternatively, customers can provide their information in one of the following three ways:

  1. Send an email through looknbook@reddeer.ca
  2. Call one of the facilities
  3. Come in to one of the facilities

“We want to make things as smooth as possible for both staff and customers when we transition to the new system,” said Shelley Gagnon, Recreation, Parks & Culture Manager. “This new system will respond to the changing needs of our organization and our customers.”

Current data and information in the old system will be transferred to the new system; however, customers without any activity within the past two years will need to set up new accounts.

Details about when the new system will go live as well as how to use the new Looknbook will be provided closer to the implementation date.
