Business Licences

If you provide services for the purpose of gain or profit, that constitutes a business and a licence is required.

Alternatively, you can select the appropriate application form from the list below based on your business operation:

If you do not own the property where your business is based, you will also need a signed Letter of Authorization (pdf)  from the property owner. You are also required to submit a Letter of Intent (pdf)  along with your application.

Submit your completed application package to Inspections and Licensing in one of the following ways:

  • Email: licensing@reddeer.ca 
  • In person: Inspections and Licensing, 3rd floor, City Hall. 4914 48 Avenue, Red Deer.
Renew your Business Licence

To renew your business licence, we encourage you to go online to MyCity or MyPayments to update your file and pay the renewal fee.
